The Lost Plans | M16 Gallery, Canberra | 2016

The Lost Plans exhibition pays tribute to Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin’s original vision for Canberra before their plans were compromised by bureaucratic and political interference.
The exhibition not only showcases what was achieved but also highlights what was sacrificed.

The paintings depict the geometric sections that were disregarded, created in oil without masking tape,
using a color scheme inspired by the natural landscape of Canberra.
